To further strengthen the market for e-commerce and services, we are launching a call that will be particularly beneficial to small and medium-sized enterprises seeking to digitise the services that are in demand on the market,&#8221; says Au&#353;rinė Armonaitė, Minister of the Economy and Innovation.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Up to EUR 5 million is available for projects of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the Capital Region and up to EUR 7 million in Central and Western Lithuania.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>The maximum amount of funding available for a project is EUR 25&#160;000 for the deployment of e-commerce transaction solutions, EUR 25&#160;000 for visual configuration (configuration and visualisation of services and products), and EUR 50&#160;000 for both activities. The minimum amount of funding available for a project is EUR 10 000.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>&#8220;This measure will allow businesses to enhance the security of electronic transactions, which is crucial for online trading at both national and international level. This funding will also help businesses to improve their online shops and design elements,&#8221; says Iveta Paludnevičiūtė, Chancellor of the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>According to the State Data Agency, 60.6 per cent of large enterprises, 46.2 per cent of medium-sized enterprises and 34.9 per cent of small enterprises were engaged in e-commerce in 2021. The largest share of enterprises engaged in e-commerce operated in the field of information and communication (49.9 per cent), trade (48.2 per cent), and professional, scientific and technical activities (38.6 per cent).\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>The Innovation Agency accepts applications by 2 October 2023. The full terms for this call are available on the European Union investment website.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>To strengthen the Lithuanian economy, the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation will launch calls totalling almost EUR 1 billion by the end of 2023.
