Participants will work together to identify the key challenges in business cooperation on green solutions and search for the means to overcome them as well as for the most effective funding mechanisms. Participants will also be able to join a networking platform that will help to bring together businesses and other stakeholders for potential cooperation. The goal of the event is to contribute to the objectives of the European Green Deal.

“The Green Deal is the strategic framework that will have perhaps the biggest impact on EU Member States’ legal frameworks, economies, business and investment environment in the coming years. It will affect the majority of EU businesses and citizens, while opening up new opportunities for innovation, science-business cooperation and attracting investment in green technologies. In order to take advantage of these opportunities, it is important for businesses to take an active interest in the Green Deal, to engage in the search for new partnerships, and to establish international contacts. The “Business Cooperation and the European Green Deal” event is an excellent opportunity to do so,” says Monika Kemežytė-Vaitiekūnienė, Head of the Creative and International Investments Division of the Investment Management Department of the Innovation Agency.

Eligible companies can receive a one-off funding of EUR 1 046 for travel expenses under the European Economic Area and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the Norway Grants programme “Business Development, Innovation and SMEs” of the Innovation Agency.
