When introducing the benefits of the new platform, Rasa Uždavinytė, Head of Export department at Enterprise Lithuania, says that the interactive platform will serve as an additional marketing channel for exporters wishing to increase their visibility and find partners abroad.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>“Finding a reliable partner or supplier on the international market is a great challenge. Particularly during the pandemic, when the number of trade missions and exhibitions has decreased and many international databases are charged a fee or are available with limited functionality. It takes as few as 10 minutes for any Lithuania’s exporter to register on B2Lithuania, whereas potential foreign partners are offered highly convenient search and filter tools as well as an opportunity to organise virtual meetings right here, on the platform,” comments Ms. Uždavinytė.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>The new platform offers the possibility to search Lithuanian companies by sector, geographical location, size and other parameters. The country’s businesses can now provide even more information about themselves: from various image elements such as video clips to certificates, authorisations or production capacities that are relevant to foreign partners.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>“Our analysis shows that similar databases do exist worldwide; however, they are rather static catalogues of contact details. B2Lithuania is different since it functions as both a business contact tool and a virtual exhibition.
