“This is an excellent opportunity for emerging technology innovators to secure funding and accelerate the development of their ideas. We believe this program will support the growth of Lithuanian startups, helping them create solutions that can compete in global markets,” says Karolina Urbonaitė, Head of Startup Lithuania at the Innovation Agency Lithuania.
The total funding pool for the program is €310,233, which will be distributed among the top five startups with the highest evaluation scores. Each selected startup will receive a fixed funding amount based on the type of product being developed. Applicants who meet the program’s requirements but do not receive funding in this round will be placed on a reserve list.
In addition to financial support, participants will join the Startup Lithuania acceleration program, implemented in partnership with VU Tech Hub. This program provides individual mentorship, business model development consultations, practical workshops, and access to an international investor network.
“VU Tech Hub is committed to fostering innovation and equipping startups with the knowledge they need to turn their ideas into successful products. This program offers not only financial support but also strategic guidance for business growth,” says Gediminas Rumšas, Head of VU Tech Hub.
The ICT sector is one of the fastest-growing industries globally, encompassing software development, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics. Lithuanian startups have strong potential to develop competitive solutions and establish themselves as market leaders worldwide.
