Construction Products CE Marking

Construction products covered by harmonised standards shall be affixed with the CE marking

The CE marking shall be affixed on construction products in accordance with the general CE marking principles set out in Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 as well as the special CE marking provisions established in Articles 8 and 9 of Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011 laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and repealing Council Directive 89/106/EEC (hereinafter referred to as ‘Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council’).

The general principles set out in Article 30 of Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 shall apply to the CE marking.

Construction products not covered by harmonised standards shall be affixed with the CE marking.

Construction products not covered by harmonised standards may be affixed with the CE marking if European Technical Assignments according to respective EOTA requirements have been drawn up for them.
