From now on, applicants and project promoters will be able to use this modern system to securely and conveniently electronically submit and revise data and documents for project funding, and administering authorities will be able to administer projects. As data will be transmitted in real time, administering authorities will be able to provide immediate feedback. Data from ongoing projects will also be uploaded into the system and will continue to be administrated therein.
The new INVESTIS system has been designed using the most advanced principles of information system design technology to ensure reliable and fast operation, security of the data processed and a user-friendly and attractive interface.
The next phases will include the development of functionalities related to the project administration process, monitoring and the administration of payment requests, activity reports, payments, on-the-spot checks, audits and irregularities. The system is being developed in cooperation with the service provider ATEA.
INVESTIS is expected not only to collect and manage data related to the implementation of the Programme for the European Union Funds’ Investments and the “Next Generation Lithuania” plan, their financing and project implementation. It will standardise the administration processes of these programmes to ensure efficient and transparent project implementation, accounting, reporting and control, and to prepare and transmit data to the European Commission.
Applicants and project promoters will not need to collect additional data from other public information systems and registers (State Tax Inspectorate (STI), Sodra, Centre of Registers), which will be integrated by the system.
